At cafe maitreya we try to reflect the values of loving kindness in what we do. We want to serve great food but as part of doing this we try to use local, seasonal and organic ingredients when practical. In addition, all our food is vegetarian and we make sure we use good quality, fresh produce. Often our staff will bring in herbs, salad leaves or vegetables from their own gardens or allotments, or wild produce that they have collected (always in a sustainable way!).
